Warmer Homes and Retrofitting Workshop

The Warmer Homes Workshop will cover some basics around domestic retrofitting in the Scottish context, with energy saving tips and DIY ideas for tenants and homeowners.
The workshop will be led by Finn Upton, who has worked in domestic retrofit in social housing projects, and in insulation installation work. Finn will give meaningful advice that is usable and offers real differences to the felt experience in your home, and have conversations are to allow you to feel confident and comfortable with making your home more energy efficient.

Also present will be Home Energy Scotland (HES), which offers free, impartial advice to help people across Scotland save energy, stay warm, and reduce their bills. Funded by the Scottish Government and managed by Energy Saving Trust, HES can support you with expert guidance on everything including energy efficiency, renewable technologies, and reducing water waste.
Home Energy Scotland will subsequently run a drop-in stall from 1:30pm - 3pm in the foyer of the library.
