Nature conservation and restoration
RenCAN Hub partners with Naturefix and local conservation charities such as Eadha and Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park to create opportunities for people to get outside and experience the physical and mental health benefits of the outdoors - connecting with nature and each other. In this way, we tackle the social justice issues facing Renfrewshire, as well as completing vital adaptation work in the face of the climate crisis. In short, planting trees up the hills soaks up carbon, and prevents flooding lower down.

We are bringing in the people of Renfrewshire to be part of the solution. So far, we've worked with over 20 organisations including Star Project, Kairos Women+, Pachedu, Circle Recovery Hub, Active Communities and the Tannahill Centre to plant thousands of trees.

Come and join us! If you're part of or know of a community group who'd benefit from a soul-lifting, life-affirming team day outdoors, get in touch with Lucy at NatureFix on 07974 523 925 or at: lucy@nature-fix.org.uk. We'll cover the cost of transport, food and a support worker for your group.
